Kolby is a private label brand for Canadian retailer, boathouse. The client asked me for a rebranding, trim package, and various apparel prints that would be used for tops and boardies. The main customer is a teen that’s trend driven and shops at the mall. He’s interested in music, pop culture, and appreciates or participates in action sports. The product needed to be very commercial, and inﬂuenced by current trends in streetwear, surf, skate, snow culture while being comfortable, fun, and casual.
