As one of the most successful clubs in the Süper Lig of Turkey, the Galatasaray Spor Kulübü crest contains four stars representing their 20 championships for the league; each star corresponds to five of the team's championships. This makes them the first and only Turkish club to have achieved such a feat, thereby officially being the club with most stars on their logo in their country’s premier league.
The home kit disrupts Galatasaray’s traditional half/half split on the jersey by referencing some historic kits and the Bosporus Strait that separates the city of Istanbul. The freshly angled split speaks to the continuous growth and success that the club has enjoyed for decades.
The away kit received a more traditional approach with a horizontally split hoop in the club’s colors.
I created a seasonal wordmark inspired by the home kit that was used throughout the rest of the collection. The highly energetic prematch top was inspired by the intense pyrotechnical celebrations of the fans.
