As one of the most successful clubs in the South African Premier Division, designing for this club was simply an honor. The “Amakosi” are a passionate and loyal group that pushes the limits of expression and love for the game. This club is also a family affair and I wanted to bring those worlds together through this collection.

The home kit takes inspiration from the lion’s mane and the iconic chevron football aesthetic. I gave the “mane” 5 sharp points, one for each child of the club’s founder - Dr Kaizer Motaung Snr OIS.
The away kit usually is black but in conversations with the club it was clear they wanted to push a fresh direction that spoke to the lineage and power of their family. We landed on a royal blue that complimented their traditional yellow and highlights their energy in an innovative way.
