Club Universidad Nacional, A.C. commonly known as Pumas de la UNAM, is one of the most iconic and popular clubs of the Primera División de México. After visiting the university and the Olympic Stadium, I was inspired by revolutionary moments that shaped this sacred place and reached beyond its stone walls.

The home kit was inspired by the university’s anthem that is sung by players and fans before each game. ¡¡México, Pumas, Universidad, Goya!!
The away uniform was inspired by one of the club’s chants that describes their blood being blue and their skin golden.
For the prematch top I wanted to reference the intense energy of La Rebel, the most passionate fan group of Pumas. While visiting the stadium I took many detail photos of the grounds and was attracted to the stark linear language that the concrete seating provides. A spray paint aesthetic was applied to the iconic Pumas crest, which traditionally doesn’t get modified in any way.
I created a seasonal wordmark for the collection, inspired by the 1968 Olympic logo.
